Consortium, Training and Dissemination meeting in Bishkek

The SWAN consortium gathered together at the Kyrgyz National University in Bishkek for a three-day meeting from 15th to 17th November, 2011. A particular topic was assigned to each day.

Followed by the welcome speech from the rector, Isamidinov Iskander, and the Director of the Institute for Integration of International Education Programmes, Bredihin Nikolai, as well as the National Tempus Officer Ms Gulnara Chokusheva, each university shared the implementation process of the Master programme and come to a conclusion on some fine adjustments on the curriculum.

After that, a series of lectures in Water Resources Management were given to the participants as well as students attended. Experienced professors from the EU shared their teaching materials in particular topics.

Last but not least, a dissemination activity on visiting the Water Resource Centre was taken place at the Kyrgyz Technical University so as to demonstrate the fruitful result of the project.
